What a roller coaster ride of a summer it has been. Through all the up and downs of the COVID pandemic, SIL has been strong and steadfast, continuing to provide quality services to every person and every community we serve. We remain open and flexible to our clients needs and schedules, but most significantly, we have worked diligently to provide support to those experiencing anxiety and fear regarding the state of Ohio and the World.
As we continue to forge ahead, we have seen an overwhelming number of requests for our virtual cooking class, S.P.I.C.E., and we continue to “think outside the box” to provide our services in a healthy and safe environment. For anyone needing assistance with technology, please don’t hesitate to call us. We are here to provide the help needed to ensure you don’t miss out on any of our fantastic virtual events, webinars, and trainings.
I’d like to remind everyone that SIL is here to help when it comes to scheduling vaccination appointments, setting reminders for upcoming appointments, and getting to/from those appointments. If you need any assistance with these things – GIVE US A CALL!
And finally, thank you to all who supported SIL with our first online raffle fundraiser. It was a success and lots of fun! Congratulations to all the winners and to all the individuals and businesses who donated the raffle items, we appreciate you! We wouldn’t have been successful without everyone involved.
As we see the leaves change colors, earlier sunsets and feel cooler weather, please continue to keep SIL is the front of your mind when it comes to disability related issues and events. Summer may have left us, but SIL is here for the long haul!
