Board member since 2006
Teacher & Social Worker
What influenced you to join SIL’s Board?
I had been referring individuals to SIL prior to being on the board as a social worker for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and as a teacher for individuals with developmental disabilities. I felt that SIL was an excellent organization that offered many services to its consumers. I was also impressed by the advocacy work it had been done in the community for so many years. A former board member, Matthew Wilding, asked me to consider being a board member. I am so glad that I took him up on the offer. SIL is a wonderful organization!
