You will have the chance to be matched with a mentor with a similar disability. Meeting with your mentor can be done in person, via Zoom, or over the phone.
WHAT IS A MENTEE?
- A person new to disability
- A person looking for guidance
- Someone looking for encouragement
- Someone who needs a role model
- Some looking to sharpen advocacy skills
WHO CAN BE A MENTEE?
- Anyone with a disability age 18 or older
- Individuals looking to learn from someone who has experienced struggles that they may be experiencing
- Individuals must be willing to share, be honest, committed, willing to try new things and open to new ideas
