SIL is excited to announce that we are the contracted agency for Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) to case manage the Personal Care Assistance (PCA) Program for the entire State of Ohio. SIL has contracted with OOD for years to manage the Northern Ohio region, but now we are the sole agency as of October 1, 2022.

Lisa Marn was promoted to the PCA Program Manager. Under Lisa, there are three wonderful staff that ensure the 108 consumers across the state are able to hire their own PCAs so they can attend training programs, look for employment, or maintain employment. SIL staff works with PCA participants to become eligible for the PCA Program, helps problem solve issues that arise, and conducts annual re-evaluations so participants can maintain their eligibility. SIL staff also provides consumers with other appropriate services and resources to enhance their independence further.
