Ohio Peer Mentorship Project.Llooking for someone who understands? Apply to be a Mentee. What is the peer mentorship project? The mentorship project will train people with disabilities to provide peer support to other people with disabilities across Ohio. Mentors will help mentees understand their disability, provide support and encouragement, teach self advocacy skills, connect and share. Who can be Mentee? Anyone with a disability age 18 or older. Individuals looking to learn from someone who has experience struggles that they may be experience are ideal mentees for the peer mentorship project. A willingness to share with others is a must. You will have the chance to be matched with a mentor with a similar disability. Meeting with your mentor can be done in person, via zoom or over the phone. You can meet in whichever way works best for the two of you. Application deadline 12/1/2024._x000D_
