Take Part in a Research Study to Improve Services for Ohioans with Developmental Disabilities!

The National Leadership Consortium, in partnership with the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council, is conducting a statewide study to investigate the support needs and barriers for Ohio residents with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD). The study aims to better understand the lived experiences of people with I/DD, and is particularly interested in hearing from LGBTQ+ adults with I/DD. 
You can participate if you live in Ohio and are a:Adult (18+) with I/DD; LGBTQ+ adult with I/DD; Family member of a LGBTQ+ adult with I/DD; orDirect Support Provider working closely with a LGBTQ+ adult.

Share your insights by taking the study’s online survey. The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. Any identifying information from participants will not be shared in any reports or publications. The survey deadline is May 31, 2025.

Sign-up for an Interview or Focus Group
The study is also conducting interviews and focus groups. Any identifying information from participants will not be shared in any reports or publications.
Individual interview participants will receive a $15 Amazon eGift card. Focus group participants will be entered to win one of five $25 Amazon eGift cards.
Interviews and focus groups will be held through June 30, 2025.
