March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities will be hosting its 2024 Art Celebration event at the Great Lakes Mall.
We courage any Lake County resident eligible for County Board services to participate!
In order to participate, artwork must be:
- original, your own concept, and not a copy of another artist
- created by the artist who is submitting the artwork
- submitted on a sturdy surface, framed, on cardstock, or canvas
Artwork can be any drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, etc.
Entries & artwork must be dropped off by February 29, 2024 to the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities/Deepwood at 8121 Deepwood Blvd. (VGC – Bldg. C) in Mentor, Ohio to the attention of Ashley Cozzens. Each participant will receive a prize and a certificate.

Artwork will be returned to the artist. The artist can also choose to donate their art to the County Board for display in our community.
