Youth Leadership Forum
Are You a High School Junior or Senior with a Disability and Interested in Self-Advocacy & Leadership Development?
Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities’ Ohio Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) is a five-day career leadership training program for 11th and 12th grade high school students with disabilities.
YLF is an amazing opportunity for students to learn vital skills in the areas of leadership, self-advocacy, disability awareness and more to transition successfully after high school into adulthood.
The Ohio SILC, in contract with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), are working with the Centers for Independent Living (CILs), in offering 8 virtual regional Youth Leadership Forums this summer across the state.
Students from anywhere in the state may participate in one of the following regional events (preferably in the same region as their home): Canton, Cleveland (2 sites), Columbus, Dayton, Toledo, Cincinnati and Athens.
Services for Independent Living is pleased to be hosting our 2nd annual Regional Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) virtually 6/08/21-6/11/21 for juniors and seniors in High school with disabilities.
